Announcement cards, a primer
This simple addition is often just the thing you need to make your announcement stand out from the crowd. Pictures are simply a lot more effective at conveying how your child looks than even the most flowery message. No matter how verbose you are, words simply won't do justice to how cute your baby looks. In addition, you only have so much space in a standard birth announcement, and you will likely run out before you have exhausted everything that you want to say! You don't actually need very much in order to create your photo birth announcements at home, with a standard computer, printer and the necessary software being more than enough to do a good job. Of course you do have to be aware of a few things that can affect the final appearance of the photo.
