Most of the time people only need a small breakfast nook set. The reason a small one is sufficient is because it is more than likely that only one or two family members will be using it at the same time. Usually a formal dining room is used for family holiday meals. Kids can really be hard on furniture so most of the time the kind of breakfast nook set families with children need will be sturdy, yet inexpensive to buy. This area makes a great place to feed small children or to help them with their homework.
