Any piece of land owned by a person, or persons or a company is referred to as real estate and any structure or growth on that property is a part of that real estate. In legal terms real estate refers to any immovable owned by a person. Property is divided into two major categories, which are referred to as commercial and residential. There are several sub categories of these two major categories. The real estate business has become a major industry.
